The seminar "Mathematics Education in India Cultural Perspective" was held

Mathematics educator of Indian origin, Harita Raval from Stockholm University, gave a seminar as part of the Culture and Mathematics course.

The seminar, which was given online on November 7, at 13:30 in classroom 224, was attended by our department faculty members, graduate students, second-year Elementary School Mathematics Teaching program students taking the Culture and Mathematics course, and first-year Elementary School Mathematics Teaching program students taking the History of Mathematics course.

The seminar covered the following topics:
- Indian culture
- Education in India
- Teacher training
- Indian mathematics.
