BARU Mathematics Education Department Participated in the 49th PME Conference in Finland

Faculty members from the Department of Mathematics Education at Bartın University (BARU) attended the 49th Annual Conference of the International Group for the Psychology of Mathematics Education (PME 49), held this year in Finland.
During the conference, Assistant Professor Özge GÜN presented two distinct research studies conducted in collaboration with Prof. Dr. Michael J. Bossé: "Comparing Grade 5 Mathematics from Türkiye and the USA Through a Synthesized Mathematics Learning Taxonomy"
"A Synthesized Cognitive Mathematics Learning Taxonomy" and "A Synthesized Cognitive Mathematics Learning Taxonomy".
Additionally, Assistant Professor Fatih TAŞ presented the study titled "Artificial Intelligence-Supported Mathematical Task Designs Based on Pre-Service Mathematics Teachers’ Beliefs About the Nature of Mathematics," co-authored with Prof. Dr. Yüksel DEDE and Assistant Professor Pınar AKYILDIZ TAŞ, sharing findings on pre-service teachers' beliefs regarding the nature of mathematics and AI-supported task design.
